1Who we are
FizEdge Projects is an apparel company. It operates through two registered companies with the same name:
- Fizedge Projects Ltd, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Nigeria (company no. 8693246).
- Fizedge Projects Inc., a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (corporation no. 1794440-3), registered office 101 Brookside St, London, ON N5Z 5C9, Canada.
In this policy, “FizEdge”, “we” and “us” mean the company that handles your inquiry, project or order. That company is responsible for your personal information. This policy covers fizedge.com and the services we provide through it. Coolprez will publish its own policy for orders placed on the Coolprez store.
2What we collect
We collect only what we need:
- Contact details: your name, email address and, if you give it, your business name.
- Project details: what you tell us about your project, such as the print method, deadline and description, and any file links you share.
- Your artwork and files: designs, logos, photos and other materials you send us for a project.
- Launch-list sign-ups: your email address, if you join the Coolprez launch list when it’s open.
- Emails: anything you choose to send us by email.
- Business records: quotes, invoices and payment records for work you buy from us.
We don’t ask for sensitive personal information, and the website does not run analytics or advertising trackers.
3How we use it
- To reply to your messages and prepare quotes. We rely on your consent and on taking steps you’ve asked for before a contract.
- To deliver the work you’ve agreed to, including artwork, files, websites and stores. This is needed to perform our contract with you.
- To send launch news about Coolprez, only if you’ve signed up. This is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep business and tax records, and to meet our legal obligations.
- To protect our business and our clients, for example against spam or misuse of the contact form.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
4Your artwork and files
Artwork and files you send us are used only for your project. We treat them as confidential, we don’t share them with other clients, and we only show your project in our portfolio or marketing if you give us permission.
6International transfers
We work across Nigeria and Canada, and some of our service providers are based in the United States and elsewhere. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country you live in. When it is, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected in line with this policy and the law that applies to us.
7How long we keep it
- Inquiries that don’t become projects: until we’ve finished handling your inquiry, plus a reasonable period in case you come back to us.
- Project files and messages: for as long as we need them to deliver and support your project. You can ask us to delete your files once your project is complete.
- Business and tax records: for as long as the law requires.
- Launch-list emails: until Coolprez launches or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
8How we protect it
We limit access to people who need it to do their work, use reputable service providers, and keep accounts protected. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work to protect yours and will act promptly if something goes wrong.
9Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that’s wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it by law;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, or withdraw your consent;
- move it to another service, where that applies.
To make a request, email 244project@fizedge.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, depending on where you are and which company handled your information.
11Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us their information, email us and we’ll delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
